About Omerta Jewellery
Welcome to the Omerta Jewellery website.
Most of my work is quite contemporary in design although I do create more traditional pieces from time to time. All of my work is created using traditional silver and goldsmithing techniques which makes each item of jewellery unique. Not even two earrings will be completely identical as each takes on its own separate texture marks under the blows of the hammer.
I strive to produce artisan jewellery that is of the highest quality combined with sensible pricing. Where my pieces weigh higher than the minimum threshold (and often ones below the threshold) they are hallmarked at the London Assay Office at Goldsmiths Hall which also incorporates my ‘Omerta Jewellery’ makers mark of OJ. My clients are then reassured that they have purchased a genuine sterling silver, or 9ct/18ct gold item. I am also a Gold member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers which is based in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham.
Some of my work is commissioned which I find immensely rewarding being able to go on a creative and collaborative journey with my clients agreeing and drawing out their ideas and concepts, and then finally presenting them with a finished piece that hopefully realises or even goes beyond their original vision.
You will find descriptions of each piece of my jewellery to be very concise giving materials used, dimensions, weights and sizes as I much prefer to let the photographs speak for themselves; although I’m always more than happy to speak to potential customers. So, if you have any questions about commissions, or pieces currently available to purchase then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
